What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembly Technician position at Integrated Magnetics?
Integrated Magnetics, a company that manufactures magnetic assemblies and electro-mechanical assemblies is looking for assembly technicians to help assemble and magnetize assemblies and components in a manufacturing assembly line. The candidate should have the ability to read simple mechanical blueprints.
Major duties include but are not limited to:
- Mechanical assembly of complex magnetic assemblies and electromagnetic components for prototypes and production needs
- Magnetize components and measure magnetic field strength
- Clean components and assemblies
- Document results and checking quality of components
Education/Qualifications:
- Prefer 1-2 year(s) of mechanical assembly skills, willing to train if needed
- Knows how to use measurement tools like calipers, micrometers, etc. to check mechanical measurements
- Detail oriented and understands engineering specifications like blueprints and drawings
- At least a high school diploma, Associates degree preferred
- Be able to stand for long periods and lift objects up to 60 pounds
In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
