What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanical Engineer position at Intela Services Inc?
Intela Staffing is looking to fill a Mechanical Engineer role in the city of Pomona, CA for a manufacturer of custom machinery for production of corn and flour tortillas.
Schedule: Monday through Friday 6:00am – 2:30pm.
Responsibilities:
Must be able to interpret complex engineering specifications and apply those specifications to the design of components and sub-assemblies using sound design principles, creative and independent judgment, and generate accurate detailed drawings and BOMs. Solid Edge and AutoCAD are preferred. Develops layout concepts. Perform basic engineering calculations, hardware sizing (motor, gearbox, cylinders, etc.) for custom design of our products.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
· Must pass Background check.
· Must pass Drug Screen.
· Minimum of 5 years in a production metalworking environment.
· Minimum 5 years of experience with Solid Edge, SolidWorks, or Inventor.
· Experience analyzing structural systems using strength of materials and finite element-based methods.
· Experience in designing food transfer and processing equipment.
Salary : $39 - $43
