Role: R&D Technician
Location: Plymouth, MN - 55442
Duration: 12 Months
Key Responsibilities:
Perform mechanical, electrical, and conditioning tests on heart catheters (e.g., length, OD, visual).
Follow written and verbal instructions for testing, from simple to complex.
Maintain 85% lab work and 15% desk time, all on-site.
Qualifications:
Experience in medical device testing or product building in an R&D setting.
Familiarity with test methods, time management, and prioritization.
Detail-oriented with knowledge of good documentation practices.
Ability to draft documents, communicate effectively with engineers, and follow safety guidelines.
Skills/Tools:
Hands-on experience with calipers, MTS, multimeters, thermometers, force gauges, Cognex, LabView.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Education:
BS degree preferred; engineering degrees considered overqualified.
