Job Description
The candidate will use their education, experience, and training to work on statistical projects in Nutrition Research.
This requires expertise in statistical methods useful in clinical trial and observational research including analysis of (co)variance, logistic regression, and causal analysis. SAS, R, or Python programming will be very important skills for this position.
The candidate will present results to non-statisticians (nutrition scientists, medical professionals, and clinical research staff) in an organized and coherent manner.
Visualization tools, apps, and dashboards may be expected in the presentation of results. Written reports describing the research in adequate detail will be expected.
Skills: R (e.g. Tidyverse, Ggplot2, Shiny); SAS (Macros, Data Steps, Proc SQL); Python (e.g. Pandas, Matplotlib, Numpy); Github; MS SQL Server; data visualization; Tableau or Power BI; comfortable with large data; data wrangling & data mining; web scraping, predictive modeling; excellent communication skills
