About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Associate to join our team in San Clemente, CA. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring that our products meet quality and safety standards by conducting in-plant testing and inspections within a food manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in quality assurance or production who thrive in a hands-on, team-oriented setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct tests and inspections on production operations and equipment to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Monitor product quality throughout the production process and work closely with the team to address any issues.
- Accurately complete necessary documentation and data entry.
- Communicate effectively with production staff to maintain quality standards across all stages of manufacturing.
- Handle substandard products by applying defined quality control procedures.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in quality control, production inspection, or a similar role in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with food manufacturing and/or HACCP standards is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform basic math functions.
- Comfortable working in a cold environment.
- Must be at least 18 years old and eligible to work in the U.S. (E-Verify required).
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (some Saturdays and overtime may be required).
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
