International Tile & Marble is a small, family-owned business dedicated to providing high-quality tile and marble products. With a commitment to exceptional customer service, we aim to create a welcoming and informative environment for our clients. This is a full-time position in our Chesapeake location. The hours are 7:30 am – 4:00 pm Monday – Friday. We offer competitive benefits, including paid time off and health insurance, to ensure the well-being of our team.

**Key Responsibilities: **

- Assist customers at the sales counter with product inquiries and order processing.

- Manage clerical tasks, including data entry, filing, answering the phone, and maintaining inventory records. Maintaining current information on purchase orders such as back orders and delivery dates.

- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of products.

- Coordinate with logistics companies to have material picked up and shipped from vendor warehouses.

- Provide knowledgeable product recommendations and support clients in selecting appropriate materials.

- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote a professional environment.

**Required Skills and Qualifications: **

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business or sales preferred.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer interactions.

- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.

- Proficient in basic computer applications and point-of-sale systems.

- A positive attitude with a commitment to providing outstanding customer support.

- Previous experience in construction or tile installation is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
