Job Summary:
To assist external customers with onsite support for equipment installation, warranty service, maintenance support for Thin Film process systems. Coordinate customer coordination with product engineering include assembly, test and performance validation,
troubleshooting and quality of equipment. Instruct and train customer on the operation and maintenance for Intevac production
systems and Best Known Methods for optimize production equipment performance. Serve as Intevac liaison in technical matters for warranty and production maintenance support for system troubleshooting, spare part replacement, performance testing and
maintenance services. Interpret and report on customer needs and report to responsible organization (Customer satisfaction,
Engineering, or Sales) to resolve customer problems. The candidate must have direct experience with equipment installation and
maintenance support.
Required Knowledge & Experience:
Demonstrated capabilities to assure good customer relations through developed communication skills; Demonstrated capabilities to provide technical leadership; Demonstrated capability to deliver high levels of customer satisfaction; Ability to effectively use hand tools, meters, scopes, and other pertinent specialized equipment; Strong customer communication skills. - ASEET or equivalent and 5 - 7 years electro-mechanical experience OR BSEET or equivalent and 4 - 6 years electro-mechanical experience. At least 3 years' experience in the semiconductor or similar industry with at least 1-year previous experience on Capital Semiconductor equipment or equivalent machines. Requires possession of a current driver's license and passport. - Must be willing and able to travel internationally. Flexibility to work on shifts/overtime/stand-by/on-call/holidays as required contributing to company objectives.
Preferred Knowledge & Experience:
- Well developed technical communication skills.
- Understanding of customer processes and needs.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully manage problem accounts and deliver superior customer relations
through highly developed communication skills. Knowledge and experience of vacuum systems utilizing cryogenic and turbo
molecular technologies.
Pay is $90-105K
Salary : $90,000 - $105,000
