CNC Mill OPERATOR
Position Summary:
The CNC Mill Operator will be a pivotal part of Irwin Car and Equipment’s machine shop operation. The Operator will work to supply components that assist in supporting OEM builds and aftermarket parts support.

An engineering and manufacturing company that specializes in designing industry-leading customized industrial material handling equipment and systems that is cost effective without compromising on the rugged quality.
Our manufacturing operations are located at a 140,000 square-foot facility in Irwin, PA (near Pittsburgh), and at our 50,000 square-foot facility in Blairsville, PA.
We operate warehouses in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Illinois, Alabama, Utah, and Virginia allowing us to provide fast and convenient service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
· Set up and operate CNC lathe machines (potentially multiple at one time)
· Inspect machined parts to strict specifications.
· Operate manual lathes, milling machines, drill press, grinders, gear hobs/shapers, and saws.
· Maintain a constant workflow
· Maintain a clean work space including proper cleaning of equipment
Skills/Experience:
· Have at least 3 years of machining capability.
· Must be able to set up, program, and operate CNC Mills using G-Code Programming with utmost consideration for tight tolerances
· Be able to deburr and inspect equipment using micrometers
· Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced production environment.
· Must be self-motivated.
· Ability to communicate effectively and clearly
· Ability to review and understand parts plans, prints, and specifications.
· Understanding of CAD Drawings
· Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with manufacturing and machining processes.
· Knowledge of Metrology including Micrometers as we all gauges used in a machine shop environment.
