the more experience with machine learning the better. All candidates should be very hands on. They train their ML models by collecting data, manipulating it, identify weaknesses in models, make them better. This department does forward looking research, software development, release to production, and ML Operations.
They are onsite 3 days per week now; this might change in the future. Candidates must be able to commute to Holmdel 3 days per week, and should know that this is likely to increase.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, deploy, and iterate on machine learning models, with a focus on anomaly detection, fraud detection, and ransomware detection
- Translate research concepts into production-ready code leveraging languages like Python and C
- Work in a Scrum team to architect and integrate robust software components
- Partner with Quality Assurance to ensure rigorous testing methods and standards
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to teammates
Required Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of industry experience in machine learning engineering
- Proficiency in Python and expertise working with libraries like Pandas and Scikit-Learn
- Understanding of Linux environments and Agile methodologies
- Strong communication, collaboration, and analytical abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced computer science degree (MS/PhD)
- 3 years in an ML engineering role
- Demonstrated expertise in data structures, algorithms, and scalable machine learning
