Academic Schedule: June-September 2025 , full-time, 40 hours per week
About the expe rience: Our ITT Accounting or Finance co-op candidates have the unique opportunity to work for a world renowned, publicly traded aerospace manufacturer. With the mentorship of Accounting Manager Piyanka Weerasinghe, the intern gets the experience and learn aspects of operational accounting and finance that is general and specific to manufacturing.

Essential Responsibilities
Assist the accounting/finance team with daily operational activities, including:
- Review all current standard operational procedures and update them as needed.
- Gaining an understanding for ITTs SOX policies and procedures.
- Maintaining and filling documents according to ITTs retention policy.
- Assist in the resolution of AP/AR items.
- Inventory audits and cost analysis.
- Currently enrolled in an Accounting or Finance (BS), in good standing (GPA of 3.0 or higher)
- Knowledge, understanding of GAAP and relevant accounting regulations.
- Solid understanding of accrual accounting.
- Knowledge of accounting information systems (SAP/Oracle etc.)
- Must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
