Responsibilities
- Clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment according to established protocols.
- Inspect instruments for functionality and cleanliness before sterilization.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of all sterile supplies and equipment.
- Operate sterilization equipment such as autoclaves, ensuring proper settings are used for different types of materials.
- Follow aseptic techniques to prevent contamination during processing.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely delivery of sterile instruments for surgeries and procedures.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and infection control policies at all times.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay updated on best practices in sterile processing.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $39.67 - $41.42 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
