We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage our construction projects from inception to completion. Responsibilities
- Manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of subcontractors and laborers, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Develop and maintain project schedules using tools such as Primavera and Prolog to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, and adherence to project specifications.
- Oversee construction estimating processes, preparing accurate budgets and forecasts for project costs.
- Review contracts and ensure all contractual obligations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Utilize tools such as an Ohmmeter for electrical testing and troubleshooting as necessary.
- Facilitate effective communication between all parties involved in the project, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction site management practices, project scheduling, quality control measures, and estimating techniques.
- Familiarity with industry-standard software such as Primavera and Prolog is highly desirable.
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead teams effectively while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
