Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Budget Planning and Development: Developing and overseeing budget for grant-funded projects and contracts, censuring alignment with project goals and funding guidelines.
- Financial Analysis: Conducting financial analysis and forecasting to monitor project expenditures, identify variances, and ensure compliance with grant regulations and contractual agreements.
- Grant Proposal Budgeting: Collaborating with program managers and grant writers to develop accurate and realistic budget proposals for grant applications, including direct and indirect costs.
- Grant Compliance: Ensuring compliance with grant regulations, funding agency requirements, and contractual obligations throughout the grant lifecycle, including financial reporting and audit preparations.
- Contract Management: Managing financial aspects of contracts, including budget development, invoicing, and monitoring of contract deliverables and financial performance.
- Financial Reporting: Preparing financial reports for grantors, funding agencies, and internal stakeholders, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness in compliance with reporting requirements.
- Risk Management: Identifying financial risks and developing strategies to mitigate them, such as budget modifications, reallocations, or seeking additional funding sources.
