Position: Fueler / Oiler Driver
Reports To: Shop Foreman
Schedule: Monday thru Friday 8:00p - 5:00a. Some weekend work (Varies based on project).

POSITION SUMMARY
- Safely operating a fuel service truck.
- Moving between various assigned project locations and fueling & checking fluid levels performing preventative maintenance as required.
- Accurately completing and maintaining service records for the affecting machines.
- Safety and efficiently drive and operate fuel service truck.
- Safety and efficiently operate various tools required to lube, service and fuel various machinery.
- Efficiently and correctly collect logs and ships samples as required during schedules service.
- Coordinate activities with supervisors daily.
- Inspect and record machine deficiencies, documenting necessary service or safety concerns.
- Observe equipment to detect machinery malfunctions.
- Comply with company policies.
- Comply with OSHA standards and company safety program.
- Comply with federal, state and company environmental policies.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of two years fueling, services heavy equipment.
- Current CDL Class B License with Tanker and Hazmat endorsement
- Clean MVR

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ABILITIES
Position requires employee to frequently stand, walk, twist, bend, handle objects, reach outward, and reach above head and shoulders, climb, descend, squat, kneel, bend, and occasionally lift carry/push/pull/move/drag on flat ground or steep slopes up to 75 lbs.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is outdoors, on job sites. Weather conditions range from frigid to hot temps. Loud noise from heavy equipment and machinery.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Some knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies used in heavy/highway construction work.
- Some knowledge of first aid and applicable safety precautions.
- Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule.
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
- Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely.
- Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
Education, Training and Experience
- Any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge and ability to perform the work.
- Willingness and ability to perform manual work following verbal and written instructions.
Special Requirements
- Must be able to pass alcohol and controlled substance tests prior to and at all times during employment.
Compensation
- $27.00-$32.00 per hour *Pay Depending on Qualifications and Experience*
