The Intern role for Barefoot Scientist is an opportunity to join a disruptive, digitally savvy beauty company to support our social media activity.
JAPONESQUE is a company focused on developing strong marketing talent and we have hired several interns upon graduation from college.
General Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Senior Manager, the intern will primarily support the following for the Barefoot Scientist Brand.
Social Media Content Support
- Ideation & creation of new social content (photo & video)
- Support ideation for weekly trending content
- Schedule monthly content for social accounts & write captions
- Create/schedule Instagram stories to improve engagement
UGC/Creator Content Support
- Support in-house and/or agency UGC activity, organize and schedule content for social platforms
- Identify 3-5 influencers to receive sample boxes and participate in paid campaigns each month
- Support & track weekly shipments for PR and paid influencer campaigns
Social Media Engagement Support
- Engage daily on social media accounts to improve engagement rates & establish relationships with new communities
Essential Skills & Characteristics:
- Enrolled in 4-year college with intent to graduate with a Business, Communications or similar degree.
- Can commute to San Ramon office 2x per week
- Can commit to 15 hours of work per week
- Experience on social platforms posting & creating video content and engaging with audiences.
- A strong interest in the beauty & wellness space preferred
