Pay Range: $30 to $35 per hour plus shift differential

Night Shift: 6pm-6am with an additional $1.25 per hour shift differential

Position Overview:

We are seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians to join our night shift team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on our extensive range of mechanical equipment, including large-scale commercial printing presses.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment and components.
• Troubleshoot and repair large-scale commercial printing presses.
• Follow best practices to enhance equipment reliability.
• Document and maintain spare parts inventory.
• Abide by management system procedures, 5S, and Standard Work.
• Follow document control procedures.
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Technical degree or working towards a degree in electrical, electronics, or mechanical preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical background.
• Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controls (PLC).
• Previous experience working with printing, bindery, and mailing equipment.
• Good organization and communication skills.
• Adaptability to working with a team or independently.
• Experience working with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and/or pneumatic systems.
• Previous use of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) a plus.

*Stay-On Bonus amount is based on experience. Paid out in three installments at 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months of employment at Japs-Olson.
