Position Summary:
We are seeking a full-time, senior experienced Electrical Assembler with a strong background in mechanical skills. This position is a fully trained and experienced electrical assembler of Jet Edge products, capable of training others, as well as cross-training in mechanical assembly. Basic required skills include electronic control panels and related mechanical or electrical equipment such as motors and motor starters. Ability to layout and wire all intensifier pump inner panels, intensifier pump frame components and motion system controllers, drive enclosures, and full motion system. This position can perform full motion system start up, confirm pump interface, validate options work, ball-ball system, back up controls and shut down, and diagnose performance issues. High skill in reading schematics and understanding various Codes is required. All work must be completed on time, defect free, efficiently and without accident. Work is performed with little supervision.
Benefits for full-time positions include health, dental, life, disability and vision insurance and a 401k retirement plan. Work weeks are Monday through Friday during the day. Pay $25 - 30, based on experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wire small assemblies and junction boxes, mount din rail, wireway and components to inner panels, program and install PLC equipment. Wire motion system to control enclosure and complete wiring of motors with cable kits, drive box and junction box, pneumatic solenoid banks, etc.
- Layout panels using measuring devices (templates, tape measure, steel ruler, framing square, etc.)
- Support pump run-in process and diagnose electrical issues as required.
- Capable or grow into position to start-up motion systems and oversee laser and ball-bar calibrations.
- Perform secondary operations as required (e.g., drilling and taping, etc.)
- Test assemblies and options to ensure proper operation and troubleshoot electrical issues.
- Load PLC’s and confirm pump and motion system interface.
- Back-up controls and shut system down in preparation for packaging.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using inspection and electrical testing techniques.
- Maintain red line drawing mark-ups of changes required during fabrication and communicate these as needed.
- Proficient in electrical schematics, UL 508A and National Electric Code (NEC) sections NFPA 70 & NFPA 79.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 3 years of practical electrical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with forklifts, cranes, slings, chains, hooks, and other lifting devices preferred.

- Full-time position and must have the ability to work flexible hours and overtime when needed.
- Employees are required to stand, crouch, and walk. Occasionally work in an elevated work area and/or lifting up to 75 pounds (with assistance as necessary).
- Some specific work areas may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles requiring the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Use of safety shoes and other PPE is required.
