Job Summary:
The Plumbing Small Projects Manager coordinates and oversees the Plumbing Small projects. Highly active in both the field and office to engage technicians and continue developing employees.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Project manages Commercial, Residential, Institutional, and Industrial Mechanical projects up to one million(1,000,000.00) in value within the Plumbing Small Projects Division
- Managing the Small Projects Division
- Receives and screens incoming calls related to the Small Projects Division.
- Create and track new job numbers for the Small Projects Division.
- Schedule/coordinates work within the Small Projects Division.
- Assists in reviewing/processing contracts for the Small Projects Division.
- Solicit and pursue new projects to bid for the Small Projects Division.
- Work with Estimation to prepare and negotiate quotes and bids within the Small Projects Division.
- Manages warranty issues on finished projects within the Small Projects Division.
- Deliver and consult on project invoices.
- Consult with clients on job walks, including PR.
- Track and maintain the change orders, RFI’s, submittals, and overall documentation control for the Small Projects Division.
- Job walk to review the status of projects, and PR with Jet Plumbing field employees.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Valid driver’s license in the state of work.
- Minimum 6 years experience in Management, Including Field PM/Superintendent/Foreman preferred.
- Proven ability to manage people and clients and proven ability to maintain company reputation and profit.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or related field
- Excellent written and verbal presentation and communication skills
- Advanced analytical and quantitative skills
- Interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others and participate as a team player
- Proficiency in MS Project, Microsoft
- Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
