Position Summary
We seek an experienced Lumber Trader with knowledge of construction products and markets. We partner with top-quality suppliers and craft value-added solutions for customer needs. Our products primarily serve the transportation industry, featuring:
- High surface quality and smoothness
- Tight dimensional tolerances
- Custom sizes
- Decay resistance
- Lighter weight options
- Noise/vibration-reducing plywood (dB Ply)
- Oversize concrete form
- General-purpose structural panels
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Grow and build relationships with supplier partners and customers
- Negotiate and coordinate the purchase/sale of plywood and related products
- Analyze market trends and pursue sales opportunities
- Ensure timely product delivery
- Provide technical consultation within the industry
- Manage risks and expectations
- Focus on repeat, program business
- Negotiate pricing with a stability focus
- Manage inventory levels
- Organize and track business activities
- Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders
