What are the responsibilities and job description for the White Glove Pick Up Coordinator (Dispatcher) position at JKA Logistics?
JKA Logistics is seeking a Dispatcher White Glove Pickup Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an interest in transportation or logistics and will be responsible for coordinating the pickup of electronic equipment in a timely and professional manner.
Responsibilities:
· Coordinate the pickup and packing of used electronic equipment per JKA standards to ensure safe transportation of all assets.
· Communicate with local agents over phone/e-mail, create pickup alerts with specific instructions for the order and ensure a smooth and efficient pick-up process from start to finish.
· Monitor and follow up to ensure orders are moving according to schedule and customer expectations
· Resolve any issues that arise during the pick up in and keep customers informed during the process.
· Assign scanning job to local technicians. Monitor job progress and ensure all tasks are completed on time and according to quality standards.
· Respond to incoming communications from internal and external customers and where necessary resolve and escalate issues as needed.
· Quickly and reliably resolve logistics service issues with confidence, escalating to managers when necessary
Requirements:
· Minimum of 2 years of experience in a dispatch or white glove/final mile pick up or deliveries.
· Strong communication skills over the phone and in email.
· Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
· Problem-solving skills and attention to details are essential
