Join the "John Wayne Waterfront Resort" team as a Crossover Front Desk Agent/Housekeeper where our guests enjoy a relaxing get-away. Whether they come to enjoy one of our 9 fully equipped cabins or park their RV in a spacious site with full hook-ups, cable television, and Wi-Fi. Rural America at its finest, we are located in the famous dry belt of Sequim, WA near the Northeast entrance of the Olympic National Park, nestled between the majestic Olympic Mountains and the placid waters of Sequim Bay. We are Centrally located in the beautiful Northern part of the Peninsula, many of our guests use our Resort as a home base from which to branch out and visit various other popular tourist destinations on the Peninsula and Victoria BC.
Key Elements of the Role:
We are looking for a friendly, helpful person who would enjoy a unique opportunity as our Housekeeper/Front Desk Agent. In this position, you will work several days in the office and several days in housekeeping. You will be a key person to serve as our guests’ first point of contact and manage all aspects of their accommodation. Ultimately, you will help create a pleasant and memorable stay for our guests.
Key Responsibilities include housekeeping, registering guests, managing reservations, and providing information about cabins/Rv sites, rates, and amenities. If you have a knack for customer service and work experience in the hospitality industry, and would like the potential to grow into a supervisory role, we’d like to meet you.
Experience/Education/ Skills:
· Someone that will be interested in a hospitality office position and housekeeping.
· Strong work ethic, responsive, reliable and diligent
· Ability to work a flexible schedule
· Customer service focus
Be able to handle a fast pace working environment and work closely with different personalities.
· The ideal candidate would be interested in working into a supervisory role
