GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Associate Advisor is responsible for all aspects of the client advisory and relationship management experience. Specific responsibilities are subject to respective clients’ engagements.

ROLE OVERVIEW:
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Partner with Advisor to actively manage client relationships.
- Support Advisor throughout sales and onboarding process.
- Review and create meeting materials.
- Prepare meeting notes and manage follow-up items from meetings.
- Coordinate information and communication with clients.
- Prepare account opening and account servicing documents and manage the process to completion.
- Knowledge of financial planning software systems and client relationship management software (CRM).
- Work as a liaison between Investment Operations, Financial Planning, Trading, Accounting and the Investment team to coordinate client related projects.
- Develop understanding of asset allocation, portfolio reviews, financial planning, basic trust and estate concepts and identification of wealth planning opportunities.

Qualifications (Skills – technical and non-technical):
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance, Business, or related field.
- Must have extensive knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- 3 years’ experience in Wealth Management/Banking in a client service position, preferred.
- Series 65 or equivalent required.
- Financial planning experience preferred.
COMPENSATION:
Base salary range: $80,000 - $120,000
BENEFITS INFORMATION:
- Potential to receive a performance based cash bonus based on several factors including the profitability of the company, contributions by the employee to company performance and defined roles, responsibilities, and expectations.
- Potential to receive a deferred compensation bonus which is invested in the JFG Internal Fund. The bonus has a three year cliff vesting period. The JFG Internal Fund is also available on a semi-annual basis for direct investment by the employee, their spouse, parents/in laws, and children. The JFG internal fund invests in private capital opportunities that our clients invest in as well.
- A full suite of health benefits is available through Justworks beginning on the first of the month following employee’s start date.
- After 6 months of employment, employees become eligible for 401K. There is a 100% match on the first 3% that an employee contributes, then a 50% match on the next 2%. In total, if an employee contributes 5%, JFG will match 4%.
- If you refer a client to the firm you are eligible to receive 25% of the revenue from thatclient the first year and 10% the remaining time they are a client and you are an employeeof the firm.
