Job Summary: Jones & Henry has an opening for a full time Construction Services Specialist to be part of our Cincinnati team.
The Details:
We are looking for a Resident Project Representative (RPR) to observe and review assigned construction projects for compliance with engineering plans and specifications.
- Collect, maintain and organize construction documentation
- Travel to construction project sites to review worksite compliance with engineering plans and specifications
- Maintain strong client relationships as a company’s representative on the project site
- Maintain strong relationships and communication with contractors and subcontractors
- Verify design plan accuracy in the field
- Consult with Contractors and Engineers regarding construction practices, construction reports, and engineering designs
- Review changes in construction and materials specifications due to developments occurring during project construction with the Project Manager or Project Engineer
The Qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelors of Engineering or Engineering related program. Preferred education is Bachelor’s degree from an ABET accredited curriculum at a four-year college.
- Knowledge of engineering concepts, practices, procedures and principles
- Ability to deal with abstract concepts during actual construction
- Ability to understand and communicate technical specifications and literature with construction personnel
- Ability and experience in communicating technical matters relating to the project to the Project Manager and/or Contractors both orally and in writing
