ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Safety Supervisor will provide EHS services for Allied Concrete and be responsible for supporting the EHS program on the Project job sites.
- Responsible for understanding government, company, and general contractor EHS requirements.
- Responsible for making sure that all EHS requirements are met.
- May be required to conduct general training to project personnel on EHS subjects and provide techniques for mitigating hazards to Allied Concrete employees during all aspects of demolition and construction.
- Will also support cross-functional EHS teams, task forces, safety committees, and special projects as needed.
SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITY
- Knowledge in the areas of incident investigation, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Knowledge of Microsoft suite programs including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Self-motivation and multi-tasking abilities are skills necessary for success.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Knowledge of OSHA construction and general industry regulations is required.
- Two to Five years of professional safety experience in the construction industry with an emphasis in concrete formwork, general engineering, paving, concrete placement, reinforcing steel, or public works is preferred.
- Professional certification or ability to obtain professional certification is preferred.
- BA/BS degree in Occupational Safety and Health, related discipline, or equivalent work experience is preferred.
- Eligibility to drive company vehicle per company insurance policy required.
- Supervisory experience is Preferred.
