As a Human Resources Generalist at Journey Group, you will be at the heart of our employee engagement and performance management initiatives. This influential role encompasses a wide range of HR activities, focusing on employee relations, performance management and coaching, and HR compliance. You'll serve as a trusted resource for both employees and management, fostering a positive workplace culture while addressing concerns and resolving conflicts.

With an assigned caseload of operating units, you will become deeply embedded within those teams, ensuring a harmonious work environment. Your responsibilities include conducting investigations, promoting workplace safety, coordinating employee recognition events, and administering essential programs. By staying updated on labor laws and providing valuable feedback from exit interviews, you will help drive continuous improvement and retention efforts.

To excel as a Human Resources Generalist at Journey Group, candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field of study, along with a minimum of five years of progressive HR experience. Certifications such as SHRM CP or PHR are desirable.

You must possess advanced knowledge of HR practices and the legal landscape, including federal, state, and local employment laws. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills are essential for effective problem-solving and decision-making. Additionally, the ability to prioritize tasks and present information clearly is crucial.
