Key Responsibilities
Human Resources Management
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and employee records.
- Develop and implement policies in compliance with labor laws.
- Support managers with employee relations and performance management.
- Coordinate performance reviews and engagement initiatives.
- Drive retention and recognition programs.
- Manage leave tracking and related communications.
Payroll Administration
- Ensure accurate payroll processing and compliance with labor regulations.
- Oversee timekeeping and payroll systems.
- Manage reporting requirements and liaise with agencies on matters like unemployment and wage levies.
Benefits Coordination
- Serve as the main contact for employee benefits administration.
- Manage new hire enrolments, annual renewals, and COBRA processes.
- Verify vendor billing and ensure regulatory compliance with programs such as ACA.
Safety Coordination
- Develop and communicate safety policies and procedures.
- Lead safety committee meetings and conduct facility audits.
- Maintain safety records, including OSHA compliance and workers’ compensation programs.
- Promote a culture of safety and wellness across the workforce.
Additional Duties
- Plan and organize company events, meetings, and special projects.
- Collaborate with the executive team on strategic initiatives.
- Attend career fairs, training, and corporate events as needed.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
Experience
- At least 5 years of HR leadership experience, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Proven success managing payroll, benefits, and safety programs.
Skills
- Strong understanding of federal and state labor laws.
- Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems, with preference for UKG experience.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead and influence teams at all levels.

- Salary: $70,000–$85,000 annually
