What You'll Do
- Lead by example on the sales floor, fostering a positive, customer-focused environment.
- Work hands-on with your team and engage with customers to build relationships.
- Manage buying, receiving, and product rotation to maintain top-quality standards.
- Drive sales through smart merchandising, inventory control, and customer service.
- Monitor expenses, minimize shrink and waste, and optimize profitability.
- Solve issues proactively by staying tuned in with employees and customers.
- Perform additional tasks to meet business needs.
What You Bring to the Table
- 5 years of seafood experience and exceptional knife skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of seafood varieties and proper handling practices.
- Physical stamina to handle weights up to 100 lbs and thrive in a busy setting.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong communication and selling skills, with retail or sales experience preferred.
Note: We welcome candidates with relevant experience from other fields, including grocery management in departments like meat, or restaurant managers with strong seafood expertise.
