What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Clerk position at K-Log, Inc.?
K-Log is looking for an Accounting Clerk to assist our Accounting Manager with various functions. The ideal candidate has a basic understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and accounts payable/receivable with at least 3 years of office experience. They should possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to communicate effectively.
Responsibilities include:
- Monitor incoming vendor emails and communicate with vendors via phone and email.
- Enter Accounts Payable invoices, checking for cost discrepancies.
- Prepare and send vendor payments, including printed checks and electronic payments.
- Review monthly vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Record customer payments, including checks, credit cards and electronic payments.
- Use Excel to prepare monthly contract reports and remit fees due.
- Maintain organized filing systems.
