EDI Specialist

Primary Responsibilities:

• Ensure all EDI documents are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Manage the Varsity Pick, Pack, and Ship (PPS) system for processing pack/ship confirmation of orders and other miscellaneous systems.

Description of Duties:

• Act as a liaison between the user community and the IT Department for EDI needs.
• Maintain mapping utilizing GXS TrustedLink for i (TLi) based on customer requirements for various documents, including but not limited to Purchase Orders, Invoices, and ASN's.
• Develop functional and detailed specifications, with assistance from the IT programming group, when required.
• Provide support for the Shipping Department, which uses the Varsity ShipSoft system.
• Maintain UCC128 labels as required by customers utilizing T. L. Ashford software.
• Assist in the transition to SAP Business One and manage day-to-day operations once implemented.
• Utilize Alluvia for integration and data management tasks as needed.
• Maintain all Crystal Report layouts in SAP Business One.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Skills/ Remarks:

• GXS TrustedLink knowledge is highly preferred, but not required.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent field work is required.
• Must be able to work independently and coordinate multiple tasks.
• JD Edwards knowledge is preferred.
• Knowledge of AS/400 is preferred.
• Knowledge of SQL Server is helpful.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.50 per week
