What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chaplain position at Kaiser Permanente?
Chaplain Professional Education (CPE) Training at Kaiser Permanente hospital in Moreno Valley area in California.
This CPE Satellite program is developed by Kaiser Sunnyside Medical Center and Kaiser Westside Medical Center in Portland, Oregon to cater to people with a variety of employment statuses, education levels, cultural backgrounds, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, languages, and spirituality.
We are accredited to do CPE training with Chaplaincy Pro.
We are currently accepting applications for CPE unit from February 3rd through May 31, 2025.
Application and Tuition are FREE. Generous gift from Kaiser administration to our communities.
Educational 100 hours are In person or via Zoom (6 hours per week). Plus, clinical 300 hours visiting patients and documenting visits (18 hours per week) can be done at Kaiser Fontana Medical Center. You can also do your clinical hours near your home. All applicants must have bachelor's degree.
We offer three times a year Chaplain CPE Training from September-December, January-May, June-August. We have two CPE Supervisors, and each has eight positions available for CPE Trainees.
Additionally, we accept application for CPE Supervisor in Training.
