Our company is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The maintenance department is the backbone of the company and responsibility for day-to-day upkeep of the facility falls to this position. The Maintenance Engineer manages the hotel building,grounds and contents in a cost-effective manner. They ensure the efficient and safe operation of all equipment within policies and procedures. He/She is also responsible for overseeing and participating in the Preventive Maintenance program ensuring all rooms and public spaces meet company specifications.
Responsibilities:
- At least 3-5 years of progressive experience in hotel or related field
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and facility
- HVAC experience helpful
- Must have valid driver's license
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Evaluate problems/situations quickly and develop a course of action
- Ability to work in stressful, high pressure environments
- Must work independently as well as collectively with team members
- Must be able to push, pull, lift 50 pounds
