Brief Summary of the Business Development Executive role:
Our Regionl Business Development Account Manager is responsible for generating new sales opportunities via phone, email or other electronic communication. They also respond to customer orders and quote requests received via outside leads, telephone, e-mail and written correspondence.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Generate leads via outbound calling and e-mail
- Provide pricing and delivery information
- Monitor previously contacted leads and following-up to ensure timely customer satisfaction
- Ensure resolution of any delivery issues
Requirements
- 5 years previous Sales experience
- Proficient in Google web platforms (i.e. - Sheets, Docs, Drive)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e. - Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work from our Schaumburg office Monday - Friday (some Saturday’s - as needed)
- Punctuality is a must - our office hours are 7:00am - 4:00pm

- Strong computer literacy and typing skills
- Exceptional multitasking and organizational skills
- Competent working independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to identify an area that requires improvement or is at risk, make suggestions and help develop a plan to implement improvements
- Proven experience handling sensitive and confidential information
- Proactive self-starter with the ability to be flexible and adapt in a fast-moving, results oriented work environment
