KMK Law is in search of a Legal Assistant to join our Real Estate Group. The Legal Assistant provides general administrative support for attorneys and paralegals in the Real Estate practice group.

Job Responsibilities

• Create and maintain electronic and paper client files.
• Prepare electronic closing binders and materials for deals finalized in practice group.
• Draft, proofread, and edit communications and other correspondence; prepare documents for electronic signature.
• Provides skilled, proactive administrative tasks encompassing calendar entries, travel arrangements, expense reports, scheduling meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  

Key Qualifications

• Intermediate computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Windows and Office.
• Excellence in customer service.
• Outstanding organizational skills.
• Concise verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Law firm experience a plus.
• May lift up to 15 pounds on occasion.
• High school diploma or GED required.
