Position Overview:

The Business Intelligence developer at KISS will play a pivotal role in the transformation of business intelligence solutions with clients on projects that thrives on data and analytics. This team member will partner closely with key business clients and other members of the BI team to architect and develop enterprise reports, dashboards and scorecards using the current BI toolbox which consists of the Microsoft Business Intelligence tools (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS and Excel Services, TSQL and MDX) as well as data visualization tools (Microsoft Power BI and Tableau) and various other analytic tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with business analysis, requirements definition, source data identification, data quality definition, transformation, and summarization processes.
• Analyze business requirements that drive the development and design of business reports.
• Suggest implementation strategies that will effectively satisfy user requirements and leverage the data environment (e.g. Data Warehouse).
• Design, develop, implement and support BI Solutions including reports, dashboards and scorecards in accordance to established specifications.
• Create, maintain and enhance SQL queries and stored procedures that support the BI environment.
• Monitor and improve (when necessary) the performance of the core SQL queries, procedures and jobs.
• Assist with the administration and maintenance of the Microsoft servers and databases that comprise the BI platform. Knowledge, Abilities and Skills:
• Strong demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Tools for BI environments, including SQL Server, Integration Services (SSIS), Analysis Services (SSAS), Reporting Services (SSRS), TSQL and MDX.
• Thorough understanding of ETL concepts and practical experience using SSIS to integrate data from diverse sources.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills that foster productive interactions with a very competent business community.
• Effective organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to function independently or in a team environment with limited supervision while being a team player.
• The ability to learn new business and technical concepts quickly.

Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Experience in financial or real estate enterprises considered a plus. Familiar with most common application languages, environments, and operating systems preferred. Four or more years of BI environment experience.

Pay:

$85,000 - $115,000 based on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
