Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Crop Manager for our farm in Quincy, WA. The farm has various crops including potatoes, dry beans, peas, corn, sweet corn, wheat, onions, and barley; some of which are also grown for seed production.
Responsibilities
· Will work with the Agronomy Manager to manage the day-to-day crop operations.
· Will manage crops, to include pre-planting preparation, planting/seeding operations, fertilizer applications, chemical applications, soil moistures, field scouting, water management and harvest.
· Will manage specific crops from start to finish.
· Will work with other employees to manage certain aspects of crop production.
· Will assist with managing crop trials, data management for trials, yield data for crop trials and other crops on the farm.
Experience
Proven experience in crop management or a related agricultural field is essential.
- 5 years of experience in Ag production and agronomy degree is a plus
- Current CCA certification would be a plus
- Ability to work independently without supervision, but also work as part of a team
- Need ambition, work ethic, and desire for production agriculture while working various crops that this farm also grows, but could focus on specific niche area also
- Strong communications and record keeping skills are needed

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
