The Powersports and Marine Detailer is responsible for cleaning, detailing and maintaining appearance of all vehicles. Clean and detail boats, personal watercraft, and other power sports vehicles to a high standard, using a variety of tools and products. Perform basic maintenance tasks such as washing, waxing, polishing, and vacuuming. Inspect vehicles for any damage or defects and report any issues to the Delivery Specialist. Use appropriate products to clean marine and powersports products. Organize detailing products in the correct location. Maintain cleanliness of company vehicles and wash area. Work with other team members to ensure that vehicles are cleaned and detailed in a timely and efficient manner. Here is what you need to fill this role:
· Strong attention to detail
· Experience in detailing boats, personal watercraft, or other power sports vehicles preferred.
· Ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
· Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 75 lbs.).
· Good communication skills
· Solid at multi-tasking
· Willing to assist with other tasks required of the parts and service department
· Strong work ethic and a responsible individual
· Perform expected job duties without frequent supervision
· Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of vehicles, both interior and exterior, ensuring all surfaces are spotless.
- Utilize custodial skills to maintain cleanliness in the detailing area.
- Conduct buffing and polishing of vehicle surfaces to remove imperfections and enhance shine.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and ensuring satisfaction with detailing services.
- Drive vehicles safely within the facility for cleaning and delivery purposes.
- Maintain an organized workspace and ensure all detailing supplies are stocked and properly stored.
- Adhere to all safety protocols while using cleaning products and equipment.
Experience
- Previous experience in custodial work or car wash detailing is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Experience with buffing techniques is a plus.
- A valid driver's license is required for driving vehicles during the detailing process.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
