North Elementary Preschool is moving to a new building Fall 2025! Planning is underway now!
North Elementary Preschool provides early care and education to children ages 3 to 5. You will be part of preparing the new space to provide outstanding care and education to Skowhegan children and families. Make a difference in the lives of Skowhegan's youngest residents by creating a safe space for children to learn and grow!
Responsibilities
- Working within a team to support children’s developmental progress and school readiness
- Supporting child assessment
- Individualizing for diverse learners
- Supporting the implementation of PreK for ME Curriculum

Experience and Skill Requirements: The following experience and skills are considered essential:
- Experience in group care setting for young children ages 0-5.
- Must be able to meet requirements of agency & State Child Care Licensing regulations for background checks and physical exams.
- Able to demonstrate interpersonal, communication (written and verbal) and documentation skills and basic computer skills.
Educational Requirements: The following education requirements are considered essential:
- High school diploma or GED
