Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the execution of acquisitions and dispositions with internal leadership and outside legal counsel to ensure all key documents are executed timely and accurately.
- Ensure financing, related documentation, and compliance requirements are completed accurately and timely both pre- and post-closing.
- Coordinate directly with Buyers and Sellers in due diligence and closing activities.
- Act as the main point of contact for all activities with title and escrow, including reviewing preliminary title and approving settlement statements.
- Gather, disseminate, and review information internally and externally with Brokers, Lenders, Consultants, Appraisers and Legal Counsel, addressing inaccuracies as they arise.
- Gather and organize the due diligence of acquisitions and dispositions from marketing to closing.
- Assist in the review of all offering materials on dispositions.
- Review and approve prorations for property taxes on acquisitions and dispositions.
- Manage post-closing requirements in accordance with Purchase and Sale Agreements to ensure legal obligations are upheld.
- Initiate request for wire/funds transfers related to asset transactions.
- Serve as primary point of contact for clients, brokers, and internal stakeholders.
- Drive process improvements and make recommendations where enhancements are necessary.
- Manage internal communication involving both the acquisition and disposition of assets.
- Maintain confidentiality of files, materials, and correspondence.
- Maintain a positive relationship with all staff to ensure excellent inside customer service.
- Always represent Kennedy Wilson in a professional manner.
- Conform to company apparel standards and set a positive example for all associates.
- Perform all other duties as directed and assist the overall team effort in any way possible.
Qualifications:
- Five to Ten years’ experience in a fast-paced transaction-oriented environment required; preferably in one or more of the following industries: Escrow, Paralegal, Real Estate, or Loan Processing.
- Legal contract review experience and/or real estate finance experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude, flexibility, and problem-solving mentality.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks in a complex operating environment.
- Must work well under pressure.
- Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office is required.
- Exemplary organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Strong project management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks within identified timeframes.
