Pay Rate/Hourly Rate/shift differential: $25.39/hr. $.65/hr. night differential
Shift/Working Hours: 2-2-3, 5:45pm - 6:00am
The wage for this role is $25.39 per hour and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications. This position may also be eligible for a shift differential and/or overtime. Key responsibilities
Responsible for packaging and palletizing the products produced on the KBS Anhydrous Dryer.
- Performs scale checks, takes and submits samples to the Lab. per specified frequencies.
- Assists Operators and other packagers, preparing bags, room cleaning, dryer cleaning, bag staging and warehousing production.
- Responsible for the efficient operation and monitoring of the KBS Anhydrous dryer bagging system as assigned.
- Takes appropriate action whenever the raw material or finished product does not meet Standards highlighted in Sop`s, EPL, and processing logs
- Rotates packaging product on the KBS Anhydrous dryer operations with operator and refinery assistant.
- Performs assigned data entry, record keeping and process monitoring functions according to established procedures in an accurate and timely manner. Responsible for all EPL related record and data entry.
- Initiates the cleaning of bagging rooms and related equipment per Kerry Master Sanitation Schedules, SQF, Dryer and packaging cleaning check lists, and Regulatory requirements.
- Continuously works to maximize On Product hours and to minimize the off-Product hours.
Qualifications and skills
- This position requires a high school diploma, or GED.
- Previous Manufacturing a plus
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English at a level to facilitate the understanding of the terminology of the job.
- Ability to comprehend and follow written and/or verbal procedures or instructions.
- Have basic math skills.
- Ability to work safely.
- Ability to operate forklift and pallet movers.
- Ability to lift 50lbs and the ability to kneel, bend over, squat, stoop, and carry.
- Ability to work in warm and dusty environment.
- Ability to work accurately in a timely manner
