The Lead Advisor is responsible for developing new business, managing relationships, providing personalized investment advice, and servicing clients.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Develop new relationships and sales opportunities
- Promote and cultivate firm reputation among referral sources and the community
- Consult with clients on investment strategies based on individual financial and investment objectives; deliver advice and conduct client reviews
- Identify sales and asset retention opportunities; including viable alternatives when traditional solutions may not apply
- Participate in all critical management and service decisions, including vender evaluation, process design, and other tasks as requested
- Proven track record of professional success
- Self-motivated, highly driven and entrepreneurial personality
- Relationship-building skills and commitment to establishing long-term clients
- Strong desire for performance driven compensation and growing earnings potential
- The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience in the financial services industry allowing for a strong understanding of broker/dealer operations and financial services products, including but not limited to: equities, bonds, options, mutual funds, annuities, insurance, and managed accounts
- Previous experience in the independent financial services culture preferred
- Series 7 and 65/66 license required
- CFP, CPA, CFA, or ChFC preferred (or ability to obtain)
