The Keystone Advanced Technology Solutions (K.ATS) group is made up of engineers, computer scientists, and data scientists, and plays a key role in Keystone’s interdisciplinary approach. As a Software Engineer on the KATS team, you will work with lawyers, academics, and tech industry leaders to analyze the behavior of LLMs, measure the value of data for AI systems, and develop novel approaches, prototypes, and applications to solve real-world client problems using state-of-the-art models and technologies.

Qualifications
- 4-6 years of relevant professional experience in Machine Learning, NLP, or software development focused on AI systems
- Experience in designing, finetuning, evaluating, and deploying state-of-the-art AI models, including LLMs, for real-world applications
- Deep understanding of i) advanced techniques like reinforcement learning, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and few-shot learning, ii) architecture and design patterns underlying models like GPT, LLaMA, and BERT, and iii) frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, and HuggingFace
- Highly capable at managing complex analyses and diverse teams
- High intellect and quick to learn with a passion for excellence
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment
- Ability to manage multiple complex work streams and work across organizational boundaries
- Able to effectively communicate technical concepts across a wide range of audiences
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related technical field; Master’s or PhD is a plus
