Position Summary

This position is tasked with identifying and developing business in the marketplace that aligns with King’s suite of services, contributes to top line revenue and base margin, and helps meet King’s sales growth objectives. Will also manage relationship of existing assigned accounts and identify new opportunities within them.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and connect with prospective business
  • Build strategy
  • Maintain and grow current accounts
  • Understand and manage the pipeline
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of processes
  • Identify specific barriers that may exist, work with Customer Care team to resolve them
  • Perform other appropriate duties at the discretion of management
  • Collaborate with sales management to prioritize targets that align with King’s business objectives
  • Follow the sales process
  • Document activity within the CRM and related tools
  • Develop & identify prospect/target list
  • Collaborate with all King personnel

Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Communication, Marketing, Business Management, Logistics, or related field
  • Minimum 2-3 years of successful logistics/carrier sales experience
  • Experience in 3 rd party logistics preferred
  • Knowledge of various services within the transportation industry
  • Communicate positively & effectively, verbally & in writing
  • Effective sales skills (relationships, nurturing, closing)
  • Exceptional presentation and general interpersonal skills
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • MS Office, PC and Mobil App experience
