KOMPAN U.S. is looking for an HR Generalist who will be responsible for managing payroll, compensation, and timekeeping records, as well as coordinating employee benefits and new-hire onboarding processes.
This role will ensure compliance with company policies and legal standards, assist with HRIS system updates, and collaborate with Talent Acquisition Specialists on recruitment efforts.

For more than 50 years, KOMPAN has researched, designed, and built innovative and imaginative commercial playground equipment and outdoor fitness sites that captivate all ages and abilities.
In collaboration with our global headquarters in Denmark, KOMPAN designs, manufactures, and installs more than 1,000 sites a month across 90 different countries. Our North American headquarters, located in Austin, Texas, supports field sales around the U.S. and Canada.

What You’ll Do
- Administer payroll, manage compensation and timekeeping records.
- Coordinate open enrollment, benefits changes, and employee benefits training.
- Address HR-related inquiries and ensure compliance with company policies and legal standards.
- Oversee new-hire onboarding by preparing paperwork, onboarding schedules, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure an exceptional first-day experience.
- Support HRIS system implementation and updates, including new module integrations.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Specialists on recruitment by posting jobs, managing applications on platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed, and tracking candidates through the hiring process with timely communication.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in the area of HR, Business or related field preferred
- 3 years’ experience in related role required
- Excellent project management skills, e.g. good multitasking capacity and ability to prioritize projects and workload
- Forward thinking, anticipating, and a problem solver
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- An interest in working with a global organization and supporting the KOMPAN mission
- Ability to learn new software programs and systems
- Ability to collaborate with varying seniority levels, including colleagues, managers, and external partners
