What are the responsibilities and job description for the Partner- Insurance Defense position at Kubicki Draper?
We are looking for a partner to join our Orlando, Tallahassee, or Miami offices at Kubicki Draper. We seek a Lateral Partner with at least 8 years of insurance defense experience. Must have experience litigating third-party bodily injury claims and handling extensive personal injury claims, including automobile claims, traumatic brain injuries, significant injuries to property or business, and wrongful death claims. A portable book of business is desired. Trial experience is required.

Your Day-to-Day:
- Draft/review and respond to substantive pleadings, motions, and discovery
- Attend/chair hearings, depositions, mediations, and meetings with clients, as well as negotiate settlements
- Must be competent & proficient in the use of Word, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint & Excel
- Communicate in a highly effective manner with team members and clients
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- 8 years of insurance defense litigation experience required
- Trial experience is strongly preferred
- Licensed member of the Florida Bar and in good standing required
- Strong legal research and excellent writing skills, as well as possess strong/persuasive oral advocacy
