What are the responsibilities and job description for the QuickSTAT Air Logistics Driver position at Kuehne+Nagel?
Your Role
Present a clean, knowledgeable and professional appearance to Quick customers and vendors while providing a high level of service.Your Responsibilities
- Employees are subject to periodic non-DOT drug testing. This screening helps maintain a safe and drug-free workplace.
- Operate company vehicle in a safe and professional manner
- Ensure vehicle care, cleanliness and required equipment in each vehicle.
- Maintain clean and professional appearance at all times and follow all current security regulations and policies.
- Follow instructions and pre-established guidelines and procedures upon pickup at shipper or at other locations.
- Cross reference and verify the information from the Bill of Lading or Master Air Waybill with the Control Tower and match that information to the shipment.
- Immediately report any negative incidents with other drivers, accidents and customers
- Load and unload shipments between various destinations as assigned
- Reporting Air Logistics Healthcare Manager
- Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday11:00am-7:00pm
- (Training Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm)
Your Skills and Experiences
- Highschool diploma or equivalent experience
- Valid Driver's License
- 2 year of experience driving commercial vehicles and routes
- Ability to lift 70lbs
