About the Opportunity

We are currently on the lookout for a skilled Accounting/Finance Analyst to join our team at L2 Partners. In this role, you will play a key part in managing the finance and accounting functions for our expanding portfolio of commercial real estate investments. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in finance and accounting practices and a keen eye for detail, contributing significantly to the financial accuracy and efficiency within our organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting preferred, with experience in commercial real estate seen as a bonus.
  • Experience with budgeting and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. 
  • Excellent organizational, communication, analytical skills, and ability to multitask.
  • Very strong written and oral communications skills.
  • Good problem solving abilities.

Role Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing the daily operations of the accounting department, including tasks in accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger.
  • Support the coordination and preparation of internal and external financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
  • Manage our third-party team in the preparation of annual operating expense reconciliations and real estate tax payments.
  • Review tenant accounts receivable.
  • Participate in the budgeting and forecasting processes, assisting with analysis and reporting.
  • Manage the distribution process for our investors.
  • Help with loan/swap portfolio management and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with other team members to support the company's goals and objectives.

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
