Service Writer

Position Overview: Lakeside Marina, a family-focused marine dealership and marina located in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a Marine Service Advisor. This role is perfect for someone eager to grow in a dynamic and rewarding environment, with no previous experience required. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong desire to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for service customers, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience.
• Communicate effectively with customers to understand their service needs and provide clear and accurate estimates.
• Coordinate and schedule service appointments, working closely with the service technicians to ensure timely completion of work.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of marina products, services, and procedures to better assist customers.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any questions or concerns.
• Process service-related documentation, including work orders and invoices, with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Assist in promoting and upselling maintenance packages, accessories, and other service offerings.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• A motivated and positive attitude, with a strong desire to learn and succeed.
• Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications (training on specific software will be provided).
• Passion for boating or the marine industry is a plus but not required.
