Community Paramedicine Program Representative -- Starting Wage $19.50 per hour
Lancaster EMS is actively recruiting for a full time Community Paramedicine Office Assistant.
Lancaster EMS is a premier, nationally accredited ambulance service in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Responding to over 41,000 requests for service annually. With over 40 well-maintained ambulance and support vehicles, Lancaster delivers top quality Basic and Advanced 911 and non-911 Ambulance service, Wheelchair Van and Paratransit services, as well as providing mental health sedan transportation. Additionally, Lancaster EMS provides numerous educational offerings and remains dynamic in the industry with a robust and evolving Community Paramedic program.
TheLancaster EMS Community Paramedicine Program Representative is responsible for providing administrative and field support to the Community Paramedicine Program and the patients served by the program in accordance with Lancaster EMS policies, procedures, standard operating guidelines and protocols.
This provider will assist in the day to day operations of the Community Paramedicine Program. They will be responsible for scheduling Community Paramedicine visits, non-emergency call taking, assisting in the field for Shower trailer and outreach events, assisting with patient navigation, contacting and communicating with patients and providers, insurance verification, faxing documents and associated data entry.
Qualifications:
· High school graduate or G.E.D
· CPR certification
· Current Drivers license
· Highly organized
· Excellent customer service skills
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Adapts quickly to change
· Remains composed under pressure
· Possesses strong interpersonal skills
· Capable of performing both independently and collaboratively
· Working knowledge of standard PC applications
· Excel experience preferred
· Electronic Health Record experience preferred
· Scheduling or sales experience preferred
Schedule: Full Time Mon-Fri 0730-15300
