Summary
Assist the facilities team in maintenance throughout Lancer Worldwide owned building.
Essential Functions
- Performs machine, electrical, plumbing, and basic A/C repairs
- Installs new equipment and assembly lines
- Monitors and repairs all power air tools and test equipment
- Uses hand and power air tools to maintain and repair equipment and the facility
- Install and size utilities to include electrical conduit, wiring, and piping
- Solder copper pipe and fittings
- Other duties as needed and directed by the supervisor
- Able to use tape measure, level, AMP/voltmeter, and pressure gauges
- Knowledge of wire sizes by amperage load
- Knowledge of conduit sizes per wire run
- Knowledge of 110 volt electrical – troubleshoot and repair
- Plumbing installation and repairs to include copper pipe, fittings, & soldering
- Installation of 110, 240(single and 3 phase), 277, and 480 voltages electric
- Experienced in electric motor, breakers 240–480-volt repairs
- In depth knowledge of manufacturing machinery and tools
- Understanding of production floor protocols – Lock out Tag Out Practices
Education and Experience
- Degree or certification in Mechanical or Industrial Maintenance
- 3 yrs proven experience in manufacturing mechanics
- Photocell, exit, emergency, and exterior lighting repairs
- Air/fluid regulators, separator, filters, pressure gauge repairs
- Able to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and machine drawings for troubleshooting and repair
- Overhead door repair
- Knowledge of basic air conditioning and heating, troubleshooting, and repair
- Knowledge/experience with air and electric power tools
- Installation of drop ceiling including rails-track
- Welding experience
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair pumps and compactors
