Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Stocking Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining inventory levels and ensuring efficient order fulfillment within our distribution center. This position involves working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, where accuracy and attention to detail are essential for success.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move products throughout the facility.
- Maintain organization within the warehouse by stocking shelves and ensuring that products are easily accessible.
- Responsible for receiving merchandise, unloading and unpacking products and create labels identifying parts and locations.
- Work with maintenance in finding parts and returning parts back into inventory and assist employees.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment to ensure compliance with company standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting is preferred.
- Basic math skills are necessary for accurately counting inventory and processing orders.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely; certification may be required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Light to heavy lifting, bending and stooping during shift.
